We have a network of 500+ professional mermaids across the United States and Canada. We operate in most major cities and can often accommodate events in smaller markets too. A travel fee may apply for venues more than 20 miles from a performer's base.

We recommend booking at least 4 weeks ahead for private events and parties. For corporate events, aquarium residencies, or peak-season dates (summer weekends), 6–8 weeks is ideal. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible depending on availability.

Tell us about your event — date, venue, and vision — and we'll match you with the perfect local performer. You'll receive a photo of your specific mermaid along with a link to your invoice. Full payment confirms your booking. From there, we handle costumes, choreography, and logistics so you can focus on your event.

A pool is ideal for the full in-water experience, but not required. Our mermaids can perform on dry land with meet-and-greets, photo sessions, and interactive games. For outdoor events with weather concerns, we seamlessly pivot to a land-based appearance.

Every booking includes a professional performer in full costume (tail, top, accessories), an in-water or poolside performance, interactive time with guests, and a photo opportunity. You provide the venue and the audience — we provide the mermaid. Looking for extra magic? We can suggest props, accessories, and activity ideas like a giant seashell throne or inflatable pool floaties to take your event to the next level.

We recommend 5–10 children per performer for the best interactive experience. For larger groups, we recommend hiring more than one performer to ensure every guest gets that up-close mermaid magic. Corporate events and aquarium shows can accommodate much larger audiences.

Cancel 7+ days before for a full refund or one free reschedule. Within 48 hours to 7 days, a $100 rescheduling fee applies. Less than 48 hours is non-refundable. We offer flexible rescheduling because we know plans change.

Yes. AquaMermaid carries liability insurance. If your venue requires an additional insured certificate, we can provide one (allow up to one month for processing). Our performers are entertainers, not lifeguards — parental supervision is mandatory during events with children.
